Notifications and announcements

The bell in the header collects sales, purchases, moderation results, balance changes and platform announcements. Unread items are highlighted; opening the panel marks them as read.

Site-wide announcements can also appear as a top bar or a popup. Signed-in users see a popup once per session; signed-out visitors see it on the landing page until they dismiss it.
