When and how to use it

Connect the input from the preceding step on the path that should perform this operation.
Fill the fields with data available in the trigger's context.
Connect the needed outputs; an unconnected path cannot run later blocks.

Configuration fields

Look up — operation

Choose the specific operation first, then fill only the inputs it requires. Different operations can return different data and can have different side effects.

Input: Fixed choice.

Default: price.

Available choices (preserve the exact value):
price — Coin price
market — Top coins by market cap
trending — Trending coins
feargreed — Fear & Greed index
fees — Network fees / gas
wallet — Wallet balance
tx — Transaction status
address — Check an address

Coin, address, hash or chain — query

The identifier or search value required by the selected operation. An account name, coin symbol, address and numeric ID are not interchangeable.

Input: Text with variable suggestions.

Format example, not a ready value for your server: {coin}.

Default: {coin}.

Currency or chain — extra

Additional input for the selected operation. Read the operation-specific editor guidance; this is not a universal credential field.

Input: Text.

Editor guidance: Price / top coins: the currency (USD, EUR, PLN…). Wallet / transaction: the chain, blank to detect it.

Format example, not a ready value for your server: USD.

Default: USD.

Store as — storeAs

Choose a short result prefix such as result. Later blocks must use this same prefix and run after this block. It is not a Discord channel or a persistent table.

Input: Text.

Editor guidance: {crypto.text} is a ready summary. Price: {crypto.price}, {crypto.change}, {crypto.marketCap}… Wallet: {crypto.balance}, {crypto.usd}, {crypto.url}… Transaction: {crypto.status}, {crypto.confirmations}…

Default: crypto.

Outputs and next steps

ok: The operation succeeded.
failed: The operation failed; provide a safe error response.

Read the result after this block, using its configured prefix and the fields supported by the selected operation. Do not assume every response has a text or id field.

Test and troubleshoot

Install the corresponding plugin and configure its required accounts, channels and secrets. Test an API read before a write operation. An external-service error is not a reason to recreate the whole bot.

Save, validate and publish. Perform one real test and read the first relevant log error. [Testing](/docs/flow-testing) · [Variables](/docs/flow-variables) · [Permissions](/docs/flow-permissions).
